Intercessory Prayer for Sons and Daughters

Father God,

I come to You in the name of Jesus, on behalf of my son/daughter ______. I thank You, Lord, that You have given him/her to me as a heritage to love and raise to Your glory. I ask You to forgive me for my failures to lead and guide him/her in the way he/she ought to go. I thank You that You are the God who restores and who brings good out of evil. Take even my past failures, Lord and use them to Your glory as You faithfully draw ________ to Yourself. I thank You that through You I am mighty and can pull down the strongholds of the enemy. I exercise that authority now in the mighty name of Jesus. And in Jesus' name I bind the powers of darkness that would blind _________ to Your truth and I command them to loose him/her now. And Father, in Jesus' name, I ask that You would draw _______ to Yourself,convicting him/her of sin by Your Holy Spirit.
